Everything you need to know before you get started.
We rent on a rolling month-to-month basis with no minimum term. You can stay for one month or several years — it's entirely up to you. Just give us 30 days' notice when you're ready to leave and we'll sort the rest.
You can store almost anything — furniture, clothes, business stock, tools, sports equipment and more. We do ask that you don't store hazardous or flammable materials, vehicles, perishable food, or anything illegal. If you're unsure, just give us a call and we'll let you know.
Yes — we take a deposit equivalent to one month's rent when you sign up. This is fully refunded when you vacate, provided the container is left in the same condition it was given to you. There are no deductions for normal use.
Our site is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You bring your own padlock so you hold the only key — nobody else can access your container, including us. Drive straight up to your unit and you're in.
All our units are standard 20-foot shipping containers measuring 20ft × 8ft (6.1m × 2.4m), with an internal height of 8.5ft (2.6m). That's roughly the footprint of a large single garage — enough for the contents of a 3–4 bedroom house.
Contents insurance is the responsibility of the customer. Our site is CCTV-monitored and fully secured, but we strongly recommend arranging your own contents cover before moving in. Many home insurance policies can be extended to cover items in storage — check with your provider.
